I’m living in PA, USA. The landlord advertise the place as a three br apartment with one of the room converted from a sun room to a bedroom. I thought she fixed it so it can deal with the cold weather, but my room is freezing cold even if I turn up the thermostat up to about 70 degrees and I have a small space heater going on at the same time. I’ve placed up plastic and fleece on the windows to keep air from coming but it’s not helping. I can’t sleep in my room because it’s almost the same temperature outside and my apartment is freezing, air is leaking and I’m spending money to keep my room AND the apartment warm. My landlord doesn’t understand this and just say it’s the cold spell that is going on but it’s even when it’s in the 30s and 40s I can’t warm up the room. So, I end up sleeping on the couch dealing with back problems. What should I do?
