Mk asked:

My room is filled with light but it is more like a dim light not too bright. On cloudy days it’s dark. My question is during sunrise at about 8am there are weak golden streaks of light going into my room, would those run rays be harmful for my peace lily? what about streaks of light when the sun is setting.

That sounds ideal. Spath. are low light plants, but can certainly tolerate indirect sunlight.

if you have a room where you can place across the room from the window that is best.

Peace lily’s do not like full sun exposure. They require a filtered sun light so anywhere where they will get daylight that isn’t directly on them is best. I keep all of mine away from windows and they do just fine and i have about the same conditions at my place.

The lighting in your room is perfect for a peace lily.

What you’re describing is not direct sunlight. You have weak streaks of light, which would fit under the category of filtered light, so this should be ideal for your lily.

Flowering will be more sparse in poor lighting, but still flower in a north facing window. Although they are ideal for dark corners, Peace lilies grow well in brighter light as long as it’s not hot direct sun.

This should help clear up any doubts you may still have:
