replacing windows with walls?
we have a porch that we intend to turn into a bedroom. It has several windows, nor do we want all of course. how can we turn the windows into the walls. What are the materials we need, and it?? I looked at the sites of DIY and can not find any useful information. we just want to make the walls where the windows are. the room is drywall. any info can help. 
interior is pretty easy. add studs 16 in the center (you can just add them under the existing rough window where is now). insulate, drywall cut to fit, mud, tape, texture, and paint.if vinyl siding on the outside, you will need to remove the coating to the bottom of the window, add plywood over the hole, wrap the weather (Tyvek) and rear place. if the coating is more you will need to replace siding on the entire wall or you'll never match the color due to fading. go!
