Do any of yous do this. I take wet diapers and put them on the floor of my sun room until they dry. You can reuse them again. I found this has saved our family SOOO much money in this tough economy! Do yous do anything to save money?

Oh ya. I do that all the time. I just rinse out teh poo and it’s goewd as new after drie.

I reuse the toilet water or rain water to wash my babe. I never change my nursing pads either

Use cloth diapers. It is a large up front cost but it is very cost affective in the long run. And reusing diapers can’t be good for your babies but. Doesn’t it smell?

That is unsanitary and cruel. I feel absolutely terrible for your poor child. Do you think putting urine-soaked diapers in the sun sanitizes them even slightly?

we use them while they are still wet to wash the windows of the house and the car, something about the amonia, I think, works well on the glass.

There are mineral salts in urine that will damage baby’s skin. Would you use cotton diapers the same way i.e. not wash them just dry them out?

No, because they are disposable diapers. If you want to save money & reuse diapers you should just use cloth diapers.

Anyone who would make their child wear old dried used diapers should have all their clothes soaked in piss and be forced to wear them once they’ve dried and see how they like it. It’s not only cruel, but I am pretty sure that classifies as child neglect.

That seems rather unsanitary to me as well. If you’re going for economic and reusable – cloth diapers, even the cheap ones are your better bet because washing them is FAR preferable to putting a diaper with dried urine in it against your baby’s genitals again. Disposable diapers were not meant for this kind of thing.

It you want to dry them out faster use the microwave. The oven works better but it takes longer. You can reuse pooped diapers as well, just have the dog lick em out good first. You can also save money by feeding the baby dog food. That way you only have to buy one big bag, saves the hassle of buying those pesky jars.
One other money saving tip, you can save on bath water by wiping the baby down with the wet diapers before you dry them. The ammonia cleans thems babies good.

that is horrible. would you pee in your pants and wear them again?? i dont care if you dry them they are called DISPOSABLE diapers, not dry and reusable, i dont care if your dirt poor, wrap the kid in paper towels or a clean shirt for all i care that would be 1000000 times better than what you are doing!!!
