How can I keep my tack inside my house?
I do not have a tack in my barn. I also have a moisture problem and my leather rot very easily in the barn. I think my tack store in my house. I have a veranda that really needs to double as a locker room anyway. I think to re-decorate the room in an equestrian theme and storage of my tack in this room as part of the decoration. I would only need to store two saddles, bridles, martingales and leather straps as well as my riding boots. Everything else can stay in the barn. Have you think this will work? Is the tack to make my house smell like horse? Am I just invite more dirt in the house? All sites you are familiar with pictures that I could consult for decorative trim ideas? I need a source for brass door hangers and really want too!
