What should we replace the sliding doors at the front of our house with?
The former owners closed the porch to make it a solarium. They have installed several large windows and sliding doors. Sliding doors must be replaced. What would be better with large windows – More than sliding doors, French doors, or a regular exterior door with sidelights? I like the idea of the door with exterior side lights, but my husband thinks it would look funky with large windows. Suggestions?
French doors are really strong when you get the trim to match the accents on the side porch. And it's even better when you get one of those crescent-shaped windows that goes above the two doors. You can special order them and actually get the game inside the house and outside to match the veranda – it would be wonderful!
