Can I winter an angels trumpet in my porch?
I have a huge trumpet angels and I'm anxious to find somewhere in my house because it overwinter. I'm in Michigan can not stay away. I solarium attached to my house is all windows if the plant will not get frost on it, but it becomes cold. There is also a whirlpool in the room of the sun so it will be exposed to moisture probably every day. Then I put it there or should I leave the house? When the spa is open it become quite hot in the room. Is it bad to go from hot to cold quickly every day? This plant is very important because it was my mother before her death and it reminds me of my angels watch about me:)
What a beautiful remembrance of having one of your mother plants. I have several houseplants and outside of my mother as well, including a pomegranate and orange she herself started from seed. Outside, plants are particularly Sweet, because I grew up and gave the plants for her, myself, and when she died, there were plants, large perennial old, waiting for me I move to my new home, where I now have a little "Mother" border.
