Solar Technologies – list of ways to harness solar energy
We have been used for dusting gadgets – like turning a dial or press a button – every time we want to get hot. Indeed, technology has been part of our lifestyle and the means of producing heat more gave us greater comfort in our homes, schools or businesses. Unfortunately, at a time when environmental concerns have increased seriously and our need for renewable resources has become urgent, not all technologies heaters function with materials cost and environmentally friendly. This is in this light that solar energy is becoming an ideal resource to produce heat.
Solar energy is easy to generate, cost-efficient and renewable. All we need is a source system – something that catches the rays of the sun and it traps the heat generated by process. That, basically, is how does a solarium.
Sun rooms are built near homes or buildings. They the use of glass panels erected along the walls, floor to ceiling, and most often faced with is the right to maximize absorption heat when the sun appears. The panels take heat from the sun, stores and prevents it from dissipating. Through vents and other devices, the stored heat is distributed them wherever and whenever necessary, such as lounges or bedrooms during the night time.
In terms More specific technologies that can help us to harness solar energy for heating, even during the winter are:
1) A thermal mass absorbs and stores solar energy during the day and distributes the heat at night.
2) The Trombe wall heating applied and ventilation technologies. It combines the veranda and the thermal mass of the processes which channels the air absorb heat between the glass panels and a thermal mass. The wall stores heat from the sun, that ends well distributed through the wall through the vents. The wall becomes the source of heat.
3) As glass panels and walls heat, a transpired collector working with walls that absorb solar energy and warm the air as it enters and distributing them through the ventilation system.
In addition, it is refreshing to know that solar electricity is not we only get hot. It splits the buildings too. An example is what we call solar cooling. The process absorbs solar heat that powers a steam engine which in turn runs cooling. Another example is called Solar Chimney. Inside the chimney of a low thermal mass that heats the air and cause a heater to evaporate. The process leads to a better Circular Release of air and ventilation in the building.
There are many ways in which we can either heat or cool our homes, buildings or businesses. Unlike other heating systems that works with artificial means, heat, technologies we briefly discussed above nature harnesses – the sun – as a source of energy. They are cost effective, providing excellent value for investment capital. They also pose no threat to the environment. They meet the need ways to save heat when the sun is up so that our house will remain warm at night. In fact, they do not work only for heating, they work also for cooling.
